A: Finding things that don’t require me to stare at a screen are great – so we went for a walk. A photo walk; sauntering around Church-Wellesly Village and over to some bookstores on Yonge. I also got a bunch of M&Ms because there was a promo code inside to get 2 free movie tickets. Worth it!
Spending time in the bookstore was awesome. B and I picked up a couple books – I got some pulpy syfy from the 40’s and another Bradbury book which was recommended. B got a haiku book and a Richter coffee table book. I smiled like a goof when he told me his book choices. He’s basically a dream of mine. I mean, a haiku book. Swoon.
B: A adorably worked out the cost of these bags of M &Ms and how many you would have to buy to get the 2 movie ticket deal vs the cost of 2 movie tickets and determined it was worth buying the M&Ms. I was worried about all the sugar and also that A can’t eat M&Ms because of her teeth being broken…which meant I would probably eat them all.
We went though and she was super happy. It was cute.
I love being in bookstores. I love being surrounded by all that knowledge. I can’t wait to have my own book of poetry in there. It terrifies me and that means I must do it. I bought a book of Haikus by Masaoka Shiki (I think) and I book of paintings from Gerhardt Richter (one of my favourites).

A: I am probably the worst person to take care of or be around when I’m sick because I just can’t seem to care about myself or how difficult and stubborn I am being. When I’m healthy, I’m all, “Yeah, let’s get this stuff and vitamins and let’s do it, I love health!” but the second I’m sick B is like, “Take this vitamin C” and I want to punch him in the face. It’s totally unfair and childish but I’m honest to god bad at being sick. I can’t rest either. I go to movies and the grocery store and try to convince people I am fine. I’m basically the worst human being because I probably got a million other people sick. Anyway, B is incredible and probably the sole reason I felt better. I hope this lasts…..foreverrrrrr.
B: When I learned that A was still sick and laying at home, I knew what I had to do. Grab some soup (carrot, orange, ginger to be specific) and head over to her place. I like taking care of A, even though she can be stubborn and refuse care.
I made sure she took everything in our “feel good protocol”:
D3 – 5000-10000iu/day
Vitamin C 1000mg up to 3x
Zinc 30-50mg day on divided doses
Deep immune 3-4x day (this is a natural immune booster made up of multiple ingredients)
Olive leaf extract (can be available in Oil of Oregano)

We watched a documentary on this amazing painter who’s work we saw on Date #149, Gerhard Richter, and then the hilarious “From Dusk ‘Till Dawn.” It was nice and relaxing.
